As Trump finished his first month in office, Americans who voted for him are excited about his actions. Even some who didn’t vote for him are aghast at the information that DOGE has made public, even if they want to whine about the process.

I conducted a small exercise looking at the population of seven countries, the budget, deficit (annual operating loss) and debt (cumulative debt).

It’s quite surprising to see how much two of the top three economies in the world, the United States and Germany are in debt compared to other countries.
